Trip computer screen broken! Empty Trip computer screen broken!

I removed the stereo from my XJS and ever since I drilled out the cage and sometime between that and removing the plastic shroud surrounding the stereo, my trip computer has gone AWOL! It shows some parts of the digits, but not the whole number, perhaps I will try and find some pics on Google to describe what I mean, failing that I will upload a photo tonight.

Has any one else had this, and if so, how did you fix it?? Mad
