Our XJSC is an 11/1988. We didn't realize the heater wasn't working until cold weather set in. After removing the lower dash panels, I noticed many cut wires and phantom plugs. I found a complete assembly on eBay that looked exactly like the one I have in the car. Supposedly it came off a 05/1987 XJS. This morning I started the task of changing them out and ran into trouble. Both boxes have the micro servos that operate the flaps. Most of the cut wires in mine match the ones in the unit from eBay. Until we get to the control knobs for fan and temp

... completely different though the donor car temp switch plug fits perfectly into one of the phantom plugs on my box. Is there a way I can make this work to have heat or am i just SOL?
