That's fair enough E-J, and you're right. It is helpful to share this information so thank you, you're doing a grand job.
It looks like the other half of my post has been edited but having been around a bit, I must admit I have seen that fault mentioned rather a lot in recent months.
Thank you for those measurements by the way Peter I'm very grateful for that post.
As a matter of interest I got my car back last week after having the tracking done and two new front tyres fitted (15") and I didn't realise at first but the knocking on speed bumps is a lot less now. So much so that I'd say the car is back to how it was originally before any of the front suspension faults were too noticeably bad.

Ah yes, ahem, the edit was my fault...
I was a wee bit tired and thought I had pressed "quote", edited out the bits i wasnt responding too and the pressed submit. Sorry! (Jeez, damn moderators!!)
